These terms apply to every booking of an electric mini-boat with Selfboats (Dutch Chamber of Commerce/KvK 89691687), Boeimeer Park, Breda.
You book via boeken.selfboats.nl. After booking you'll receive a 6-digit code by email. As soon as you enter that code, your booking is confirmed in our calendar. The code is valid for 15 minutes; if you don't enter it in time, the reservation lapses automatically and the boat becomes available again.
You pay at the location, before you head out on the water. The price is €25 per boat per hour; you'll see the total while booking.
Want to change or cancel your booking? Use the link in your confirmation email, or contact us via WhatsApp or hi@selfboats.nl.
If the weather is too bad or unsafe to sail (for example thunderstorms or strong wind), we may call off the trip. We'll contact you and you can pick a new time free of charge.
Because a booking with us is always for a specific date and time, Dutch law (Article 6:230p sub e of the Dutch Civil Code) does not grant a statutory cooling-off/withdrawal period for this type of service.
You must be at least 14 years old to sail, with a maximum weight of 110 kg (242 lbs) and a maximum height of 1.95 m (6'5") per person. No boating licence is required — you'll get a short briefing before you head out, which you must follow for your own safety and that of others.
Use of the boats is at your own risk. Selfboats is not liable for damage resulting from not following the instructions given, except in case of intent or gross negligence on Selfboats' part.
Not happy with something? Let us know as soon as possible via hi@selfboats.nl and we'll look for a solution together.
These terms are governed by Dutch law.
